How to set-up a class-pass, a bundle and memberships

In the passes & products section, you can configure class-passes, pass-bundles and memberships, including prices and the ways you sell them. It's important you understand the difference to set your studio up for success.

Important note: The discounts are offered on the pass-bundles and the memberships. The class-pass stays the same. Every time you go to a class, a single class-pass is deducted. It's important to set up the class-pass first, and then everything else relates to it.

Step 1: Create your Class-Passes.
These are the building blocks of your pricing. Each time a client attends a class, a pass for that class is deducted.
For example:

  • Group Reformer
  • Private 1:1
  • Studio

Step 2: Create your Pass-Bundles
Combine passes into special offers and discounted packages.

For example:

  • 10 Group Reformer Pass Bundle
  • Intro Pack = 1 private and 6 group reformer classes bundle
  • Student discount 10 group reformer classes bundle

Step 3: Create your Memberships
Memberships are recurring subscriptions. For example:

  • Annual Membership 1 group reformer class per week - $40 per week for 1 class (= $40 weekly payment → 1 group reformer class-pass)
  • Annual Membership 1 group reformer class per week Student discount - $35 per week for 1 class (= $40 weekly payment → 1 group reformer class-pass)
  • Annual Membership - 2 classes per week $60 (= $60 weekly payment → 2 group reformer class-passes)
  • Annual monthly care-package - 1 private, 8 group reformer classes per month $400 per month (= $400 monthly payment, 8 group reformer class-passes, 1 Private class-pass)

Step 4: Create your classes
Each class is linked to a specific class-pass. This allows only those with that type of pass to enter that class. For example, a group-reformer class-pass does not allow access to a studio class, or a private class. Then, whether they are a student or have bought 20 passes, they still have access to only that specific kind of class.

Product display order

Products are displayed alphabetically unless you apply your own order. Find the Change order option in the top right corner of the Products page and use Drag & Drop to set your display order.

Class-Passes

The class-pass is a foundational building block for the whole pricing system for classes. It's like a ticket. You create the ticket, then you can create bundles or specials like student deals, and then you create —a digital admission token that grants access to your classes. You can create multiple types of class-passes to reflect the different classes you have, such as private class, group class, or beginner course.

There are two main types of class-passes:

Single Class Admission

A single class-pass provides access to one scheduled class. For each class you configure, you can specify which class-passes are valid for booking.

Course & Series

Course passes are designed for structured programs, such as a 10-session Reformer Beginners Course. When a client books into a course, they are automatically enrolled in all sessions that belong to the series.
