First Time Payment Setup
Welcome to Appilates! Here's a friendly guide to help you understand how the payment system works.
Supported Payment Methods
We offer three main ways to accept payments for your classes:
- Online Payments
- Process through Stripe.
- All transaction fees are deducted directly by Stripe.
- Appilates does not claim any part of the credit card fees.

- Invoice Payments
- Generate PDF invoices for bank transfers.
- Automatic tracking of incoming payments isn’t supported yet.
- You can quickly find and mark invoices as paid or send reminders.
- A handy trick: copy relevant bank details from your online banking app and paste them into PIA, our AI chat, to find and flag unpaid invoices.
- Cash Payments
- Simplify cash payments if you use them.
- You can restrict cash payments to certain clients if needed.
Configuring Payment Methods
- Enable or disable each payment method as you like.
- Set rules for specific products (like class passes or memberships).
- Limit payment options for certain clients if required.
Activate Online Payments with Stripe
- During your trial, you can't accept real payments yet.
- To start, prepare your business info (tax number, bank account) for Stripe onboarding.
- Use this Link or log in to your Appilates account, go to your subscription, and begin setup.
Setting Up Your Sales System
- Set up class-passes. These act as admission tickets for your classes. (Create different ones for each different type of class, eg private classes, group reformer classes, or cstudios. These are the building blocks for your studio)
- Set up any bundles you offer (e.g., 10 passes packs, 1 private and six reformers, student discount packs).
- Set up membership subscriptions with monthly or weekly payments that include class-pass credits.
