Class schedules in Appilates

Setting up a class involves a few key steps:

• Create advertising text to describe the class for the website and the app.
• Select or create class passes that permit booking; see Class-passes.
• Assign staff who will instruct the class.
• Configure booking and cancellation terms.

The Scheduling assistant guides you through setup. Use the Next and Back controls to move through each step.

Class configurations

When you schedule your first class you’ll create a class configuration. A class configuration groups the essential parameters for a class:

• Title and short description
• Required class passes for booking
• Class type and level, for example Reformer or Mat; Beginner or Advanced
• Assigned instructor(s)
• Cancellation policy and deadline
• Advertising text for public listings

Class configurations scale with your business: once created you can reuse or copy them to create new classes quickly.

Writing clear advertising text can take time. PIA can help — after you enter basic class details in the Scheduling assistant, PIA uses those parameters to generate well‑formatted, publishable copy. Provide a few keywords or walk through the details, and PIA will produce copy ready for the online schedule and the app.
