We built AI into the core of the platform, not on top of it.

Because it sits inside the system, it works with structured information rather than trying to interpret things from the outside. It understands bookings, memberships, and client activity in the same way the platform does.
That makes it more consistent, and easier to rely on.
It also changes how information is handled.
The AI in Appilates is stateless. It uses what it needs in the moment, then lets it go. It doesn’t store conversations or build profiles over time. Each interaction starts fresh, using only the context required for that task.
This keeps things simple, and keeps control with the studio.
Another part of this is how the AI is guided. Rather than acting freely, it works within clearly defined actions. It can help create, update, or summarise, but only in ways that are structured and predictable.
That means fewer surprises, and a clearer understanding of what it’s doing.
In practice, this shows up in small ways.
Support starts with context already in place. Admin feels lighter because information is easier to work with. New staff can find answers without needing to piece things together.
It’s not about replacing how a studio works, but supporting it quietly in the background.
